Dr. Miles Fortner
Dr. Fortner was born and raised in Gillette, Wyoming, and is proud to have graduated from our very own Campbell County High School in 2007. Dr. Fortner started college at the University of Wyoming and finished at Black Hills State University. He then attended Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas Texas in 2010 and graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2013.
Dr. Fortner is certified in Animal Chiropractic through the American Veterinarian Chiropractic Association and has a Advanced Certification in Chiropractic Biophysics.
Dr. Fortner took over Dr. Scott Hunter’s office in March 2014 as Dr. Hunter retired from his practice. Dr. Fortner is now the sole care provider at Western Plains and enjoys seeing the progress his patients have made as well as the progression and strengthening of newer clients.
In addition to human care, Dr. Fortner treats animal patients at Gillette’s Animal Medical Center. From a 2,100-lb horse to a 2-lb ferret, Dr. Fortner is passionate about using his education and talent to provide longevity and quality of life to each and every animal.
